Guess what?--The Grass is Greener!
Finally made it to Maryland after driving over 40 hours from Phoenix---The Bronx---Boston--and then to MD. I have been quite spoiled since I arrived--Carter has even staked his claim on one corner of the couch. He must feel comfortable, as do I. The only downside is I'm sick and my husband isn't here. Both downers are temporary, so I'll keep plugging along. I had the joy of sitting on my ass for the entire day yesterday and watching Buffy for many hours. The only excuse I have about not getting into the series was the fact that I was out of the country. Very clever--Joss is quite a man. I was considering doing the same thing all week, but then I wouldn't be much of a conversationalist when friends and family began asking me what I've been up to. I guess a limited circle of friends wouldn't be so bad?Got a bit side-tracked with Weight Watchers, but I did manage not to gain any weight, so I shouldn't complain. Also researched a gym nearby my work, so I can go directly there instead of sitting in traffic on the way home. Not such a bad use of time I might say. I was even researching places to take martial arts classes, since it has been some time since I've done anything in that arena. I always wanted to do more weapons training--mine has been limited to Swords and after visiting some interesting places with Stacy in Baltimore it may come in handy some day.
Off to studying--Reality, sometimes it just sucks!
